USQUEBAUGH Long before the barrel took over, this USQUEBAUGH Long before the barrel took over, this was how the Highlands drank. This small-batch Peated Usquebaugh is inspired by a 1757 recipe, from a time before whisky was aged in oak, when flavour came straight from peat smoke, warming spices, imported and local botanicals. It is the taste of early Highland hospitality, a dram traditionally passed round in a circle to bind a community together. A historic dram built to lift the spirits, with one foot in the past and the other firmly in the present.
We began experimenting with making gin during lock We began experimenting with making gin during lockdown for entertainment… and here we are now. After achieving 98 points in the IWSC competition 2023 with our 57* Skye London Dry Gin we really started to see this becoming something pretty exciting. We are still making gin now and as always… still experimenting.

SPIOSRACH Strawberry and sichuan gin liqueur 🍓🌶️ SPIOSRACH Strawberry and sichuan gin liqueur 🍓🌶️ Starting of weekly highlights strong with this liqueur. This is our take on a fruit liqueur with a bit more bite. Made using our 57°Skye London Dry Gin, it combines the natural sweetness of ripe strawberries with the warm, tingling spice of Sichuan pepper. The result is a liqueur that’s soft and rounded at first, with a subtle heat that builds on the finish-not overpowering, just enough to keep things interesting. It’s a liqueur that works best where contrast matters-add a splash to sparkling wine, bring warmth to a sour, or use it to lift something dark and stirred. It plays well with both sweet and savoury elements, and rewards a bit of experimentation behind the bar or at home. #gin #ginliqueur #gindistillery

One such gem is Castle Moil, a small old ruin that you can only access when the tide is out. It’s situated right at the edge of the small village of Kyleakin, you can park along the beach front and stroll to the ruin in about 15-20 minutes. All our seaweed is sourced from the naturally fert All our seaweed is sourced from the naturally fertile waters of the island giving it the unique flavour that makes it an award winning gin! In the background is the Isle of Skye bridge. Driving to the island has only been possible since 1995, before that you had to jump on a ferry. So take a drive to this beautiful island and take the first left over the bridge to this amazing view in from the pebble beach front in the small fishing village of Kyleakin.
